Fall 2018 Social Skills groups
Wilma Jean the Worry Machine Anxiety Social Skills group. Ages 5-10 years. Tuesdays from 6-7 pm
This fun and humorous curriculum addresses the problem of anxiety in a way that relates to children of all ages. It offers creative strategies for parents and children to use that can lessen the severity of anxiety. The goal of this group is to give children the tools needed to feel more in control of their anxiety.
Teen social skills program. Ages 13-18. Tuesday evening from 7-8 pm
Teen social skills groups provide both a structured program and a variety of social activities including music, dancing, karaoke, and games. Our teen nights will give your teen the opportunity to sing, dance, and build friendships while having fun!
***additional fees for community activities. Community activity fees are not covered by insurance. Community events may end later than a typically scheduled meeting.
Super Flex (9-12 years old) Meets Thursday evening from 6-7 PM
This group focuses on learning the foundational skills needed for success in basic peer relationships. With structured and unstructured activities, these groups are designed to simulate the variety of environments children need to master.
Cost: Each group is $25 per week. Most insurances do cover social skills groups, however you are encouraged to contact your insurance provider before signing up!
